Singapore Airlines extends meal pre-choice

Singapore Airlines is extending a popular perk to more travelers, allowing them to order their onboard main dish in advance.

The plan, called Book the Cook in its initial test, allowed passengers in Suites, First and Business class to order from a menu of 68 choices on selected routes. The plan has now been extended to all flights within the system. Meals can be ordered between three weeks and 24 hours ahead of flight time.

While the extended program still applies only to the top-tier classes, the airline says it will extend it soon to Premium Economy.

The best part of every trip is realizing that it has upset your expectations
