Toronto has a memorable city hall which, like the CN Tower, provides one of the iconic images of the city. Besides its unusual architecture, the grounds are spacious and provide a much needed public space in this the largest and busiest of Canadian cities. The grounds is especially popular as a skating rink in the winter months.

This is Toronto's most recent city hall -- the last one being featured in a prior TravelGumbo blog -- here's some of the images I snapped in and around City Hall.
