Sept. 6, 2018: England's Hottest Summer!

After 4 months with no rain and record breaking temperatures, England is now slipping back into "cool with showers."

Where I live in northern England, September marks the end of Summer. The apples are ready to pick from the trees a month earlier than last year. They're starting to fall off the tree each day. Tomatoes and grapes in the greenhouse will continue until the first frost.

Scotland - 200 miles North of Liverpool - has just had its first overnight frost.

With temperatures in the 60s and 70s, I love this time of year.
