Reasons to Invest in a Folding Bike

Folding bikes are small and compact, which makes them easy to fit in small places like closets, tight corners of your home or car, or even take on a bus. This is great for people who live in cities where you take public transportation frequently.

They also have a low purchase price when compared to purchasing a new bike from a bike store. Folding bikes are also ideal for people who have limited space at home to store an extra bike. Here are the best reasons to invest in folding bikes:

  1. They are lightweight and sturdy

The main selling point of folding bikes is how light they weigh. You can easily carry a folded up bike on your back or in the trunk if you needed to take it with you somewhere else, like school or work.

The lighter weight makes these bicycles easier for newbies who aren’t used to riding a bike, as well.

  1. They are easy for transportation commuters or students in cramped dorm rooms with no storage space at all

Folding bikes can fit almost anywhere which makes them perfect for the busy life of someone who commutes by train and needs an option other than taking their bike on the train.

  1. They are compact and easy to store away when not in use

Even if you have a larger house, your space might be limited or cluttered with furniture since it’s hard for anyone who lives alone to buy big items that take up lots of storage room. A compact bike, like a folding one, can easily fit in the corner of your drawer or closet while you are at work.

  1. They offer great exercise

The best thing about riding a bicycle is that it gives people an aerobic workout without having them break out into huffing and puffing when they are done. Folding bikes work just as well for this purpose and are a lot easier on the joints than running or jogging.

  1. They are green

It’s an environmentally friendly choice that saves money in terms of fuel expenses, since you can ride your bike to get places instead of driving everywhere with gas prices being what they are.

  1. They are fun

Riding a bicycle is one of the most enjoyable ways to get around, and it gets you outside in fresh air instead of sitting inside on your couch watching TV or playing video games all day long because you don’t want to make the effort to get out of the house and do anything.

  1. They are extremely durable

These bikes can last a long time if you don’t ride them too much, but they also stand up well against wear-and-tear as far as regular bike riding is concerned for those who commute to work or school.

  1. They are great exercise

They are great exercise that you can use to keep up with your kids. It’s easy for parents and their children to take a ride together on one of these bikes, which makes it fun as well as something they will enjoy doing regularly if the weather is warm enough to do so.

  1. They are fun for the whole family

Children can help ride a folding bike around, too, which is great when you have more than one child who likes to get out and go somewhere on their bikes instead of being stuck inside all day long watching TV or playing video games as well as getting an exercise at the same time.

  1. They are relatively inexpensive

They are relatively inexpensive compared to other bikes that you can purchase from a bike shop. These models run anywhere between $100 and over one hundred dollars (though most of them will be in this lower range), which is still less than half of what it would cost you to buy a conventional bike.

I'm not sure what "$100 and over one hundred dollars" actually means, but I doubt whether you can get anything worthwhile for much less than $400 and a decent one (that will last for a few years) will easily set you back $600 - $800 (at least here in the UK). The prices on the site you are advertising seem to bear that out. But you are right: we bought two folding bikes around 5 years ago and it was one of the best purchases we ever made!
