Recently we were in Vancouver, Canada and we were lucky enough to spend a little bit of time at Queen Elizabeth Park. It is a 130-acre jewel on Little Mountain. It is 152 meters above sea level and is the highest point in Vancouver. We were there on a very beautiful day and enjoyed walking around and soaking up the amazing atmosphere. I was amazed at how many things there were to see and do. Here are a few:
- Arboretum
- Celebration Pavilion
- Bloedel Floral Conservatory
- Fountains/Plaza
- Quarry Gardens
- Painters' Corner
- Sculptures
Of course the thing I wanted to see the most were the beautiful flower gardens and they were truly amazing. My only regret was that we didn’t have more time to explore some of the things in the list above. However, I am grateful that we were able to walk around a little bit and see some of the park.
