Pollinator Park: a nice place to bee

Poln8rs Plus, a non-profit conservation organization is getting ready to open Pollinator Park, a unique agritourism attraction on 134 acres near Calhoun Falls, South Carolina.

When completed, the park will have over 20 miles of native perennial wildflower beds separated by mowed paths, as well as pick-your-own berry patches and even camping and RV sites—but the human guests are there only as a way of supporting bees and other pollinators who play an important role in our food chain.

The park, which hopes to use power and materials in as zero an impact way as possible, aims to "create and maintain a place that attracts and fully supports pollinators in every stage of their life." Poln8rs Plus hopes that the park will serve as a prototype for others to follow. As well as a really nice place to bee.

The best part of every trip is realizing that it has upset your expectations
