Paris museum's nudes are not all art

The Palais de Tokyo contemporary art space in Paris is set to become the first gallery to feature nudes in the audience as well as on the walls and pedestals. It's arranged a nude visit day for May 5th.

The unclothed visit is by joint arrangement with the Paris Naturists Association, with would-be visitors required to first sign up with the association. The visit will focus on the exhibit Discord, Daughter of the Night. For that date only, the museum will be both admission- and clothes-free. Normally admission is €12.

It's not the only recent first for France's naturists, estimated at 2.6 milllion. In the past year, a nudist zone has been set aside in the Bois de Vincennes, east of Paris, and a nude restaurant opened recently.

The best part of every trip is realizing that it has upset your expectations
