The Inn and Ilz Rivers meet the Danube at Passau, Germany, a popular stop for river cruise lines including AmaWaterways. Early one morning the AmaStella sailed into the port close to the historic area making is easy to take a stroll among the historic buildings and monuments. Dating to the 2^nd century, the city is rich in reminders of the past.

Visited there one time to follow in my WWII veteran father's footsteps. Gorgeous city. Overcast and rainy when I was there, but Marilyn is showing some bright colorful images that really show off this Bavarian city. Thanks.
