If you can't get to Disney, build your own. And if you're a big Lego fan, you have the stuff to do it, apparently, as John Wayne Daugherty demonstrated.
He, his wife and two kids had planned a spring break Disney World, but it was canceled by the virus crisis. Disney has been a lifelong obsession for him, and he had spent several years building all the Lego Disney kits (another obsession). So he decided to set them all up and make a virtual trip, complete with souvenir video, below.
Daugherty told reporters he still needed permission to make the trip—from his wife. "I was like, 'OK, honey, can I clear everything out of the dining room and set it up just for once?' She said, 'You better have it picked up by tonight!'" said Daugherty.
