Most hoteliers still ignoring the AirBnB threat to their business

Seems the folks who run hotels in large cities still aren't too worried about AirBnB -- but maybe they should be.

 

AirBnB, which has experienced enviable growth and market penetration these past few years, doesn't concern those who run hotels in big urban areas because there aren't enough rooms available to make much of dent in their business.  But they should be worried because it seems inevitable that AirBnB will make a dent in their room rates and demand for rooms, as it has in smaller markets.
