More Dreamliners for USA flights

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner, whose ultra-long-range and great fuel economy have made it a favorite of a number of airlines in Europe-to-Asia and U.S.-to-Asia flights will be showing up on more trans-Atlantic routes soon, as both British Airways and KLM add it to new routes.

KLM is adding a twice-weekly flight between Amsterdam and San Francisco, using a 787-9. That will be in addition to the existing daily service with a 747. In October, at the end of summer season, the 787 flight will become daily and the 747 will be re-assigned.

California will also be the destination for a new British Airways flight, sending a 787 on a daily non-stop to Silicon Valley's San Jose airport, adding to its A380 service to San Francisco. London is the most requested destination from San Jose.

The best part of every trip is realizing that it has upset your expectations

I recently rode the 787 for the first time. i was very impressed. its 3-3-3 configuration felt roomy and there was plenty of leg room in economy. I also liked the tinted windows instead of the shades. Also it had the biggest toilets I have seen since the 747 and the old L1011's.
