Megabus Making Bus Travel a Viable Option

I've had a lot of experiences with Megabus the past year.  Besides the  main points of cheap prices (starting at $1 or £ 1  pound), and  free Wifi, there are others.  Those points include the ease of purchasing online and the extreme hassle free way  of boarding.  All one needs is a reservation number.  It's a different experience from the post 9-11 world of travel. Megabus doesn't make a lot of stops too, which can really drag out bus trips and is a big reason some gave up long bus trips years ago.  And the Double Decker buses make riding fun.

Here are some trips I've taken.  All but one bought at the last minute. They include the 50 cent booking fee.

Jacksonville-Atlanta, $1.50 Round Trip.  One way was free because of a promotion. The other way was a dollar.

Atlanta-Orlando-$17.50

Jacksonville-Orlando-$13.50 One Way

Orlando-Gainesville- $13.50 One Way

San Francisco-Los Angeles- $32.50 One Way

In Europe-

Paris Liverpool £24 One Way.

A note, the night buses also save a hotel bill and if your like me the driving motion actually lets you get a little sleep

If you want a thing done, ask a busy man.
