May I help you with that iPad, sir?

We've seen the role of flight attendants change over the decades.  Gone are the days of weight limitations, gloves, and mandatory skirts and heels.  The time when everyone on the plane was served fine meals and wine -- poof, vanished.  That's fine with me.  There's less of them on aircraft now, and so they're busy, especially on short flights.  I think flight attendants have a pretty tough job for the most part and I appreciate those that go out of their way to be pleasant and helpful.

With the advent of inflight wi-fi and "bring your own devices", flight attendants have an added job of keeping folks happy with their inflight connectivity experience.  Something I never really thought about before.  This can be challenging as many folks aren't that good with using their devices even at home.
