May 24, 2018: A Wedding in the Mountains

Everyone loves a wedding, even those who are just watching from a distance.

A few summers ago I was visiting the resort town of Golden, British Columbia. A gondola ride takes you to the top of Kicking Horse Mountain, where there's a nice restaurant and some hiking trails. Enjoyed a nice lunch at the restaurant and then did some hiking in the mountains, before returning to the mountain resort.

A wedding was being held behind the restaurant and given the magnificent mountain views I can certainly see why this spot was selected. Don't know the couple but as it seemed so photogenic and was in a public place, I thought I'd share some of these photos with you.

And how about the views?
