Looking for Cheap? Sunny Beach may be for you

Sunny Beach, near Varna on the Bulgarian Riviera, takes the laurels as Europe's cheapest vacation haven in two surveys. Based on the price of a list of vacation essentials, it came in at less than 20% of the cost in Copenhagen, the most expensive destination.

The cost of hotel accommodation, a coffee, a bottle of wine, a meal for two, a cocktail, cinema tickets and a 1km taxi fare at Sunny Beach came to about $76, while the same items in Copenhagen came to just under $400. The surveys were done by hoppa.com, an airport transfer company, and the British Post Office.

Other destinations with low prices include Ostrava, Czechiya; Antalya and Istanbul, Turkey and Sofia, Bulgaria. For the complete list and lots more details from the Telegraph (UK), click HERE
