June 24, 2017: Horse and Carriage to the Market in Cuba, $4

I was in Cuba this week and I hailed this "Cab"  to take me to the local market. When we arrived he asked me how long was I stopping there. "About an hour" I replied. "OK - I'll wait over there - under a tree for you" said the driver.

So later I went back to the Hotel - shaded from the hot mid day sun on his carriage.

Total time  2 hours. "That will be $8 Sir"

All the locals were waiting to hear what President Trump was going to announce this week about sanctions being lifted. They suffer enough under the Castro Military regime - who they never elected. Mostly the older people who suffer from ageing diseases. Like Arthritis and Cancer. Denied the drugs we take for granted in the pain free world. Looks like they'll suffer a while longer under this tyrannical embargo.
