The Gendermenmarkt is a historic market square, near the Unter der Linden in Berlin's Mitte section. In December, it hosts a large Christmas market and ice skating rink. On the west side of the square is the Berlin Concert House. The north and south sides are home to two, now retired, churches.
On the south side of the square is the Neue Kirtch, or German Cathedral. Today it is home to an exhibit on the history of the Bundestag.
On the north side of the square is the French Cathedral.
