JetBlue, Singapore extend codeshares

JetBlue is a popular U.S. discount airline that has a loyal following for its domestic and Caribbean routes, but it will soon be selling more tickets to Asian destinations through an extended codeshare deal with Singapore Airlines.

The two will add the Singapore label to JetBlue flights to Charleston, SC, Atlanta and Burlington, VT as well as two back-tracking routes to San Jose and Burbank, California. Anyone's guess why you'd want to fly Singapore to New York and then back to Burbank if Los Angeles were your original destination...but now you can do it.

JetBlue also codeshares with Singapore on the West Coast, which allows it to sell eight flights a week from California to Singapore on JetBlue tickets. That will now be possible from New York JFK as well.

The best part of every trip is realizing that it has upset your expectations
