Just after dawn Viking Njord sailed along the Danube River into Budapest. Fog framed the Hungarian Parliament Building in the sun’s golden glow. The parliament is the largest building in Hungary. Construction of the Gothic Revival style building began in 1885. It was inaugurated on the 1,000th anniversary of the country in 1896 and completed in 1904.
