Sometimes it seems like enough of a gamble whether you and your bag will get to the same airport or whether you'll make your connection, but at Las Vegas' McCarran airport, the big gamble is the thousand or so slot machines scattered around the terminal.

Last month, that gamble paid off big time for a traveler who won $933,080 on a 'Wheel of Fortune' slot machine while waiting for his flight out. Last year, two travelers won jackpots of over $1 million each.
