Italian state museums, archaeological parks and other cultural sites have added free admission for three more days this year, according to the Ministry of Culture.
The three days are April 25 (Liberation Day) and June 2 (Republic Day), both of which are national public holidays and November 4 (National Unity and Armed Forces Day) which isn't. Although none of the days falls on a Sunday this year, they are being listed as part of the program that provides free admission the first Sunday of each month.
The free days come at a time when many museums in Italy have raised their admission prices significantly, and some attractions, including the Pantheon in Rome will begin charging for the first time this year.
