Iconic and Ironic: some more Signs of Toronto

Toronto is a city of many neighborhoods, styles and signs (as DrFumblefinger has documented HERE and HERE) so there are always a few more to add. These are from a short walk on Bloor Street, accompanying my wife to a knitting store, whose punny sign is one of those I collected.

My first surprise was the store above; in my experience traffic tickets are delivered to your location by the cops, and as for criminal charges...so I guess you don't really go there to get them. If all else fails, though, try this next place:

And if you can't get a pardon, there's still a place for you: Disgraceland!

If you think my jokes are bad, try this place!

It seems this next place failed to live up to its name...or it wouldn't be closing.

I found this concept a bit stunning, although I think I get the point (although, to be honest, not the point of heading downhill with skis on my feet).

And the yarn store, which was special enough that my wife immediately sent pictures and selfies to her New York knitting circle friends. They got off without the pun-ishment that usually follows my attempts at word play.

And the last one: stunning art for a bar called Wolf Like Me.
