How far can Disneymania go?

If you  (or your friends) are mad for all things Disney, our apologies if you think we're being a bit critical but this may be fandom gone too far: A bidding war on Ebay for bottles and baggies of water salvaged from the now-closed Splash Mountain attraction, which is being re-themed.

Just after the ride closed Sunday, the listings started showing up offering water supposedly collected on the last day of operation (no official guarantees of authenticity, of course) in a variety of forms. USA Today reported some: 10 ounces in a re-usable bottle for $7.99, a plastic bag of water for $25, four ounces in a Mason jar for $149.95.

And then a bit wilder: a 16.9 ounce bottle offered at $10,100—and before you laugh, consider that it almost immediately drew 39 bids. For those with less cash or perhaps more specialized interests, one seller offered a “Great Value Sandwich Bag of Toilet Water from Restroom by Splash Mountain.”

Where does it stop?
