About a one hour drive west of Calgary using the TransCanada Highway, and near the town of Canmore and its Nordic centre, the incredibly beautiful Grassi Lakes are nestled between the Ha Ling Peak and Mount Lawrence Grassi.

An easy family hiking trail leads you to two small turquoise blue lakes that are spring fed and offers wonderful views of waterfalls and a nearby reservoir. The hike is a very popular day trip for people from the city of Calgary.
