Gumbo's Pic of the Day, June 13, 2015: A Band in Beaune

I’d enjoyed several days walking along the Burgundy Canal in France, near Dijon, then relaxed for a week in Beaune, a beautiful town surrounded by vineyards.

It was a springtime flea market day and I wandered among the vendors’ tables. I bought a tiny ashtray for my best friend who smoked tiny cigarettes. But the best part was the band.

I noticed the Hotel Central far in the background and found its website. The roof has changed a bit since they took their picture and I can’t tell you anything about it except the location is excellent.
