Not much ever gets discarded in Morocco, much less something as sophisticated as a donkey cart. So what terrible fate befell this robust means of transportation to leave it looking so wrecked as it is? Perhaps a crazy burro or cavalier driver attempting to execute an unwise manoeuvre at the wrong time of day? An eternal mystery for the passing traveller...

I think the mystery is solved. The guy had all 4 tires blow out at the same time. Hence, the disasterous crash.
