Gumbo’s Pic of the Day, February 13, 2015: Postcards from Morocco - Atlas clouds

One morning, whilst visiting the World Heritage site of Ksar at Ait Ben Haddou, beyond the Atlas mountains and into southern Morocco's desert region, we awoke to blustery winds that made the fine sand race across the dried river bed - and - these fantastic, almost UFO-like, clouds against the clear blue sky. I'm no meteorologist and so my knowledge of these phenomenons is strictly 'nil' but I loved their shapes and strange look. I hope that you enjoy them too.
