Gumbo's Pic of the Day, August 16, 2015: Perseid Meteor Shower

I managed to get a small meteor shot the night of August 12, supposedly the best night to look for them streaking across the sky during the Perseid meteor shower. This is my first attempt at this type of night photography so I was happy to get a small one passing through my timed shot. I think I have found something new to try!
