Fujifilm is into perfect pictures, as are most Instagram users—and Fuji has now created a private island setting designed to produce the most Instagrammable pictures anywhere.
Starting at about $2200 a night for a couple, the package includes chef-prepared meals, wine and cocktails, full service, and the use of Fuji's latest digital cameras, including underwater versions. Up to eight visitors at around $1100 each per night. There's also a pro photographer on hand to take pictures of visitors.
The island itself, just off Fiji's Mamanuca island group, has 8000 square metres, three villas, a helipad and an infinity pool, as well as the standard equipment (Pacific sunsets, white-sand beaches, shimmering lagoon, etc.)
These days, Fuji says, the rule is no longer that beautiful places inspire visitors to make pictures; Alex Zitser, Fujifilm Australia's marketing manager says that "Aussies are now booking holidays based on how their travel pics will look on Instagram."
