If you’re like me, you miss travel—big time! One solution is traveling with your family and friends that you’ve been isolating with, your own 'bubble." So how are you going to manage this family/friend-only trip?
One company addressing the situation is G Adventures. They recently introduced “Book Your Bubble Collection” private group travel.
Let me interject here that I have traveled with G Adventures and they are an excellent organization. All groups are led by a local chief experience officer (CEO) who provides additional local knowledge and follows all safety recommendations. These men and women are some of the very best guides I have had the opportunity of traveling with.
The tour company is offering a collection of 80 tours that provide additional benefits over and above those they would normally receive when booking private small group travel. The tours allow travelers the opportunity to reconnect with their loved ones and their love of travel at the same time while feeling safe and comfortable in a ‘private bubble’ during the adventure.
Tours are also divided into specific travel styles— Active, Marine, Classic and 18-to-Thirtysomethings. Additional incentives including discounted tours for trip organizers, and, on all tours, travelers also experience the added health and safety measures of G Adventures’ new Travel with Confidence policy, which promises to update health and safety procedures as they develop.
Features of 'Book Your Bubble' include:
- Book Your Bubble with eight people and the eighth spot is discounted by 50 percent; if twelve are traveling, the twelfth travels free—or the discount can be split across the group.
- Flexible ‘cancel and rebook’ options in case a trip needs to change departure date.
- Book Your Bubble groups can combine the private tour price with current G Adventures’ sales for added discounts.
The company also offers a 'TailorMade' service that allows groups to book other private travel outside the 80 selections. Travelers can also book with private travel outside the 80 trips in the collection via G Adventures ‘off-the-rack’ options or by customizing a trip using the TailorMade service.
