FAA Says: A little less droid, a little more pilot

The Federal Aviation Administration is mandating a safety update already recommended by Boeing for 737s; it's designed to give pilots more warning when airspeed drops too low, especially in landings and approaches. Too much reliance on auto-throttle and other automation has been identified as a factor in a number of crashes, including the Asiana 777 crash last year at SFO. DETAILS from Reuters.
