Drumheller's Little Church

Situated in Alberta's badlands, near the city of Drummheller (Canada's dinosaur capital), you'll find this extremely small church.  As some locals say, "it seats 10,000 people, but just 6 at a time".  The Little Church has a pulpit and six single-person pews. Its construction includes stained glass windows and a brass bell in its small steeple.

The Little Church is always open and a free site to visit. It is owned and managed by the Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce.  It's a functioning chapel that holds church service and occasional weddings and special ceremonies.   This church was first erected by a local contractor Trygve Seland in 1958, designed as a place of worship and meditation.   It was reconstructed by inmates of the Drumheller Institution in 1991,
