Busch Gardens is an African-themed animal and amusement park in Tampa. Its 335 acres features eight roller coasters and two water rides. It also has animal attractions, shows and other rides.

A great time to go Busch Gardens in Tampa is in early December. The weather is usually great, it is not so crowded and the Christmas light display and shows are well worth seeing.

I'd recommend taking the train around the park first to see what rides and animals you want to see. Seeing the hippos underwater was really a highlight for me.

As far as the Christmas lights and shows go, the lights are beautiful and the Christmas shows very well done.
