Copenhagen's missing tour bus found, busnapper arrested

Copenhagen police have recovered the missing Belgian tour bus that was reported stolen in six weeks ago, and a suspect has been arrested.

The bus was found in the town of Kvistgard, near Helsingor, and a Serbian national who lives in Copenhagen has been placed in 15-day custody. There may be other arrests.

The disappearance of the bus from the hotel where its passengers were staying, touched off a large-scale search, including helicopters. While police were sure then and now that it was an ordinary theft for profit, they could not discount the possibility that it might have been taken to use as a weapon.

The best part of every trip is realizing that it has upset your expectations

Our son and his family live in the beautiful rural Jutland Peninsula of Denmark.  Though Denmark is still one of the safest countries in the world, they have seen a dramatic rise in criminal activity by immigrant gangs, so no matter where you travel, you should always be cognizant of your surroundings.
