Bald Eagles, Green River, Colorado

I never tire of seeing bald eagles.  Once endangered, they have recovered so that seeing them is far from a rarity.

We came across this bald eagle sitting on a tree during a rafting trip down the Green River.  The bird just watched raft after raft float by.  Photography was a bit of a challenge as we were moving, but I'm reasonably pleased with the photos.

The images below were taken further downriver and show a bald eagle sitting in its massive nest of sticks atop a tree.  Don't know if there was a chick in there, but probably soon there would be one.
