I never tire of seeing bald eagles. Once endangered, they have recovered so that seeing them is far from a rarity.
We came across this bald eagle sitting on a tree during a rafting trip down the Green River. The bird just watched raft after raft float by. Photography was a bit of a challenge as we were moving, but I'm reasonably pleased with the photos.
The images below were taken further downriver and show a bald eagle sitting in its massive nest of sticks atop a tree. Don't know if there was a chick in there, but probably soon there would be one.
