Australians OK with biometric scans

Three of every four Aussies are okay with biometric scanning to ensure personal identification (eg. facial scans) before being allowed to board an aircraft.  This is true especially in light of Malaysian airline 370 disappearance.

More on that story in the Sydney Herald at this link.

Is this a good idea, or a further intrusion into an individual's privacy?  I'm not sure....anyone have an opinion?

I'm really not ok with a lot the security  measures that have happened the last decade in air travel. Some of the measures were necessary, but I hope we can find a balance and respect peoples privacy and freedom

Still not sure how biometric scanning would of protected the Malaysian flight at all. I thought all the security was to check us because terrorists can be from any country, any age, and have legal documentation .

If you want a thing done, ask a busy man.
