Some people get jelly-legs just thinking about crossing deep canyons on shaky slender pedestrian bridges, especially those with glass walkways. For others, it's a pleasant stroll. And some just need to jump off the bridge.
For those who feel that way, one of the highest (and once the longest) of the now-many glass suspension bridges, the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge in Wulingyuan, has now added a bungee-jumping station fastened to the underside of the bridge, allowing for what is essentially 260 metres of free fall tied to a giant rubber band.
As the video above indicates, those who do it apparently like it; authorities say they are getting about twenty customers a day at a price of approximately $300. Although China now has over 2,300 glass-walkway bridges, this is so far the only one you can jump off and survive.
