We were more than a little startled, while visiting Santiago's Museo Nacional de Historia, to find just what the curators consider worth remembering...such as the standard mid-century paper punch above. No April Fooling!
Of course, the museum, located on the Plaza de Armas at the center of Santiago, also has a much wider range of artifacts and exhibits tracing Chile's history from colonial times to (nearly) the present. It's located in the 1808 Royal Courthouse, facing the center of the square.
