An Edsel and an Airstream

When I first spotted this duo, I felt like I'd stepped back in time!

The Edsel was a division of the Ford Motor Company, named after Edsel Ford, son of company founder Henry Ford.  The Edsel (car) was made between 1958 and 1960.  It was considered an innovative car for its time, but it never caught on with consumers and was discontinued after only a few years of production.  I thought this car in baby blue was really eye-catching.

Airstream made some of the finest travel trailers during that time period.  The brand is still manufactured, although perhaps not with the same quality as they were then.

These photos were taken outside of a campground in eastern Idaho.
