All Aboard! for 'virtual' Flamsbana trip

Norway's Flåmsbana, the scenic railway that twists and turns its way on a 45-minute trip through passes and tunnels to climb nearly 3,000 feet up a mountain, can now be experienced in a 360° video available online.

The line, which Lonely Planet calls "the world's most incredible train journey," connects the port of Flåm on the Sognefjord with the Oslo-Bergen railway at Myrdal, at the summit.

The video, which allows viewers to drag the scene and view it from any angle, can also be viewed in virtual reality mode with a VR headset. It's a collaboration between Visit Flåm and Expedia, timed to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the line. To see the film, click HERE
