Alhambra Cat

While walking in the gardens of the Alhambra, in Granada last summer, I noticed this regal cat (or almost didn't notice because of his excellent blending into the background colors)

He seemed to be a bit surprised at my interest, and after a few moments, he jumped down, turned, and gave me another stare, waiting for me to leave.

Not the only feline at the Alhambra, of course: nearby, the famed Court of the Lions with its multiple fountainheads.
