Huge crowds extend King Tut show

King Tut is the talk of the town in Paris, so much that the exhibition of objects from his tomb that's been drawing record crowds at La Villette has been extended a week until Sept. 22.

So far, 1.3 million visitors have bought tickets for "Tutankhamun: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh." That's a record for an art exhibit in France, eclipsing the 1.2 million for a 1967 Petit Palais show of, you guessed it, King Tut artifacts.

The show, which organizers say includes the largest number of artifacts of the king ever to have left Egypt, will move to London in November, and will tour other cities after that.
