Whether you just hate crowds, or want bragging rights to a bucket list that's in no one else's bucket, here's your chance: a list of Britain's least-visited attractions. Although, with their numbers, calling them 'attractions' may be ironic.
The list comes from VisitBritain.org, the official tourist promotion agency, which issues the list annually and maybe should be doing more to get these places further up the list.
At the top, or maybe it should be the bottom, of the list is Sufton Court, shown above. It's in Herefordshire, and the Guardian said they couldn't even find a picture of it. Obviously, from the picture above, they didn't look far enough to find Wikimedia with the Richard Croft photo above. Total visitors for 2015: 72.
Some of the low-scorers are surprising. Considering the long and deep involvement of Britain in India and the number of Britons of Indian descent today, you'd think more people might have visited the British in India Museum in Lancashire...but only 103 did, up 5 from 2014.
Catastrophic drops in patronage are not unknown, either. In 2014, 714 people visited the Medieval Merchants House in Hampshire, but apparently the barrel must have emptied, because only 137 showed up last year.
