While wandering the canals of Amsterdam, you get to see a lot of lovingly restored homes, like those shown below. Prices for apartments on these canals are through the roof expensive.
I like it when you see more affordable housing, like a tree condominium built for the birds. This collection of bird houses was located next to the spot where I took the above photo. If I were a bird, I can’t think of a better place to live.
