Bangkok had a moment of unusual traffic chaos last week as a young water buffalo ran out onto a major commuter route during morning rush hour.
The young animal was seen cavorting along the center lanes of the main roadway near the Royal Thai Mint, and running into oncoming traffic, causing traffic to halt intermittently.
Officials were able to eventually capture and tranquilize the animal and traffic resumed. It is not known where the buffalo came from of how it got into the area.
