Avelo expands in East and West

Avelo Airlines, one of 2021’s scrappy start-up airlines, is making moves in both its western and eastern networks, adding cities and frequencies to its ultra-low-cost network.

In the east, Avelo is adding four new destinations at its Wilmington, Delaware hub, where it is the only scheduled carrier. New flights will head out to Greenville / Spartanburg, S.C. (GSP); Nashville, Tenn. (BNA); Raleigh / Durham, N.C. (RDU), Wilmington, N.C. (ILM), as well as to Charleston, S.C. (CHS); Daytona Beach, Fla. (DAB), Myrtle Beach, S.C. (MYR) and Savannah, Ga. / Hilton Head, S.C. (SAV). It already serves five Florida cities from Wilmington.

From Las Vegas, where Avelo already flies to Sonoma, California, it will now also fly to Bend / Redmond, Ore. (RDM); Brownsville, Texas (BRO); Dubuque, Iowa (DBQ); and Eureka / Arcata, Calif. (ACV). It will be the only carrier on those routes. Avelo says it is also establishing a base at Las Vegas.
