Air India Announces Non Stop Flight to San Franciso after Prime Ministers Visit

Days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India visited the headquarters of tech giants, Google, Tesla and Facebook, Air India has announced it will start non stop flights from San Francisco to New Delhi starting Dec 2. The route is 7,692 miles and  will take 16 hours.

 

USA Today said:

“China may be a Silicon Valley obsession, but India increasingly is in the conversation and may soon displace its Asian neighbor as tech’s next big frontier,”
