The Mouse House is coming to Abu Dhabi, with Disney planning its first new park since 2016, this time in Abu Dhabi.
The new park, to be built in partnership with Miral, will be on Yas Island and says it will incorporate elements of Emirati culture as well as Disney’s latest technology.“
Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro told USA TODAY that “This is going to be one of the most advanced theme parks that we’ve ever built. We’ve got an opportunity here to build from the ground up and really put on display all of this ambition, all this innovation, all this new technology that we have at hand to create something incredibly special for our fans.”
The plans include, besides the theme park, a number of hotels; the project should be complete by the early 2030s, although parts may be open sooner.
