After completing an interest tour of the Mi Cafecito coffee processing plant. several people in our tour group did a short hike to a nearby canyon. There was a beautiful rainforest draping the walls of the canyon, and a river cascading through the valley. I believe this is the Rio Sarapiqui canyon.
The place is very popular with bird watchers. A great place to do this, as you can enjoy a tasty and reasonably priced meal at the Mi Cafecito restaurant when you’re done.
